I make my living as a sports photographer from my studio on the outskirts of Burlington, Ontario
Mostly I shoot pro sports, although the past couple years I've been also training staff for Sony and testing camera prototypes. I've been working at sports for 30 years and am starting to get an understanding of what makes a good photo. Most of what I shoot is game action but I'm doing more editorial portraits the past few years. Including editorial work in China and Europe. To watch videos of me at a portrait shoot go to....

I've shot football for years... not much in the CFL but over 200 games in the NFL. I shot for NFL Images... then switched to Wireimage when it became the offical supplier of the NFL.... then on to Getty Images when it bought Wireimage.
The photos are used throughout the league and are published regularly in sport journals such as Sports Illustrated, Sports Illustrated for Kids, and ESPN.
Baseball is my favorite game and I've been covering it since the Blue Jays won the World Series. I've been one of the league photographers since then, working under contract for MLB Photo and these shots are used by the league and regular sports and baseball publications.
I've had pictures published in all the magazines that matter and in 2008 had work in four books... which brings my total book projects to 42. I've had 100s of trading cards published by Upper Deck, Topps, Pinnacle, and Pacific Trading Cards.
